INVITATION BUNI MEMBER TO THE SYMPOSIUM ON AFRICAN CINEMA ON 21ST SEPT, 2013.

The Pan-African Film Development & Advancement Foundation in partnership with the Tanzania’s Ministry of Information, Sports, Youth and Culture invites you to the symposium on African cinematic expressions, this September in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.

The symposium was motivated by the need to reawaken sensitive African filmmaking direction through indepth presentations, panel discussions and engagements that will help develop, manage and maintain an empowered and financially viable Tanzanian film sector through industry capacity building,  up skilling and investment.

We believe that Kiswahili (official lingua franca of Tanzania) is a strong cultural vehicle for the development and advancement of a Pan-African cinema identity.

THEME: AFRICAN CINEMATIC EXPRESSIONS: A SUSTAINABLE TOOL FOR NATION BUILDING.

DATE: Saturday 21st September 2013
VENUE: BUNI HUB, COSTECH, Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
TIME: 9am – 4pm
The symposium will facilitate a convergence of public and private sector stakeholder’s, driving discussion of current issues and achievable solutions for the sustainable development of the Tanzania Film Industry into the future.

We welcome you on board, as well as all other members of the Tanzania Film Federation as we take off for a better African Cinema and we expect an acceptance letter in this regard, therefore our appreciation in advance.
