In partnership with Athgo International, the Government of Rwanda, and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), kLab Rwanda’s technology hub is organizing the Transform Africa Entrepreneurship Web 3.0S (E 3.OS) program will take place in Kigali, Republic of Rwanda from October 28th – 31st, 2013.
As a part of the Transform Africa Summit, the regionally focused and highly interactive E3.0S program will bring together 25 high-potential technology startups from around Africa to help enhance four capacities that strongly contribute to the success and growth of startups: knowledge, network, financial, and core (team motivation). The top five promising startups will also be awarded innovation grants.
The program concept, built on Athgo’s proprietary Constructive Entrepreneurship model and 4-Pillars to Success knowledge framework, has four primary objectives:
- Provide applied direction on how to build value generating commercially viable and scalable startup businesses,
- Build and employ core startup business development skills,
- Create opportunities for collaboration and funding, and
- Extend the reach of all stakeholders to global resources by employing a web-based ecosystem for startup development and growth.
The invitation has been sent to our hub (Buni) to nominate the startup with the most potential in our hub that could benefit from this program.
Travel and accommodation costs will be covered by the organizers for successful startups.
Buni is organizing a pitching session for the Startups which would like to participate in the main event in Kigali to compete for the prize. The pitching competition event will be held at Buni this friday 27th September 2013.
