Youth entrepreneurship week training at Buni

There will be  six days event that will bring together a multidisciplinary team of Entrepreneurship, Industries and trade, technology, policy makers and business development service providers’ experts, with the aim of developing technical solutions to emerging and existing young entrepreneurs.workshops

Business development services providers will facilitate intensive business management and entrepreneurship training, Youth forum and discussions, and business clinics.

The event is hosted by CHIPUA (business and entrepreneurship consulting firm) the organizer in collaboration with  BUNI innovation hub at the building of Commission of Science and Technology (COSTECH), International labour Organization through its Youth entrepreneurship facility and Women entrepreneurship development and Economic Empowerment.

Duration and Timings

The training will be from November 25-30, 2013, From 09.00 am to 15.00 pm at the smaller side of the Buni Space. Drinks and refreshments will be provided to all participants by the organizers of the training.

Training content

Training will mainly be on entrepreneurship and business management by using the ILO/SIYB (Start and Improve Your business) packages, with the following topics,

  • Generate your Business Idea (GYBI)
  • Principle procedures on how to start the viable successfully business.
  • Step by steps procedures on how to prepare the Business plan
  • Financial literacy. How to create a sustainable community revolving fund.


The ILO/SIYB international certified trainers will facilitate the process.


The event is free for any Buni community member to attend. For individuals from outside the space would have to contact the organizers of the event.
